These cards are an expression of the combination of healing and art. As a Shiatsu Practitioner, I work with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which is an ancient healing system, and the basis for Acupuncture, Acupressure, and Shiatsu (which is similar to Acupressure in style). Five Element Theory, which is part of TCM, deals with the energy meridians that run through the body. These meridians are associated with elements of nature:Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood, and working with these archetypes of nature, along with hands on bodywork, can help people connect to nature and profoundly heal.

I created these cards based on the concept that healing and creative energies are linked closely. I use them in my Shiatsu practice, as an educational tool as well as to help people to link thier health back with the natural world as well as thier own creativity.

This is a work in progress; I am in the process of creating more cards based on nature and native american ideas about animal totems as well as spiritual guides.
